Learn how to get off Auto Mode and onto Manual Mode, what the exposure triangle is and why you should care about it, along with the basics of composition, lens choice, etc.
Cameras, their functions, and all their accessories can be overwhelming if you're not already familiar with them. Discover how to use your camera to capture moments, events, and people in your everyday life. The class will cover a range of technical aspects, including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We'll also cover focal length and lenses, lighting, and correct exposure.
Natural Light Portraits

This meet-up will explore how we can take beautiful portraits using natural light and backgrounds. We will explore how to recognise flattering light and how to manipulate it whilst shooting in a less controlled environment than a studio. We will explore how we can work collaboratively with our subject to achieve a portrait that captures their personality and style. We will also look at posing and setting your subject at ease. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones. A model is present during the session.
